Founded in 1888 in Oyonnax, France. Originally dedicated to the design and manufacture of combs and hair accessories made of horns and boxwood.

It wasn't until 1936 that Bollé Safety launched their first sunglasses and optical frames made of celluloid and then Rhodoid.

After World War II, they became pioneers of moulded nylon with products that met the highest standards of the time.

Bollé's industrial protection department worked alongside the French army, navy and aerospace to develop innovative protective eyewear.

From the very beginning, they have always strived to remain at the forefront of innovation in eye protection.

After more than 100 years, Bollé products are distributed and used in virtually all sectors and regions of the world.
